Shape Tower 개인정보처리방침

오브나인소프트(OF9Soft, 이하 "회사")는 Shape Tower(이하 "앱")를 제공합니다. 이 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 수집하고, 어디에 쓰고, 언제 지우는지 설명합니다. 이 방침은 1.0 버전부터 적용됩니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

이용자가 동의한 경우에만 앱이 판 요약을 회사 서버로 보냅니다. 판이 끝나면 한 판에 한 건을 보내는 것이 원칙입니다. 다만 시작 웨이브부터 2웨이브를 채우지 못하고 30초도 되지 않아 끝난 아주 짧은 판은 보내지 않습니다. 앱이 도중에 종료된 판은 다음에 앱을 실행할 때 "중단"으로 보낼 수 있습니다. 동의하지 않았거나 동의를 철회했다면 보내지 않습니다. 판 요약에는 아래 항목이 들어갑니다.

설치 ID는 이름, 이메일, 계정과 연결되지 않은 무작위 값입니다. 그러나 같은 설치에서 보낸 여러 판 요약을 서로 이어 주는 값이므로, 회사는 설치 ID와 판 요약을 개인정보로 다룹니다.

수집하지 않는 것은 다음과 같습니다. 이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 계정 정보, 연락처, 위치, 사진, 파일, 입력한 텍스트, 광고 ID, 기기 고유 식별자(Android ID, IMEI 등), 크래시 로그와 진단 로그입니다. 판 요약에는 이용자가 직접 입력하는 자유 텍스트가 없고, 모든 문자열은 게임 데이터의 id나 정해진 값입니다.

만 16세 이상 확인: 통계 전송이 켜져 있는 동안 기기에는 이용자가 만 16세 이상임을 확인했다는 사실(예 또는 아니오)이 저장됩니다. 생년과 나이는 묻지도 저장하지도 않으며, 나이에 관한 정보는 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 통계 전송을 끄면 이 확인 표시도 함께 지워집니다.

IP 주소: 회사 서버는 IP 주소를 저장하지 않습니다. 웹서버(nginx)의 접속 로그는 꺼 두었고 오류 로그는 /dev/null로 보내며, 앱 프로세스도 요청을 로그로 남기지 않습니다. IP는 요청 속도 제한을 위해 서버 메모리에서만 쓰고 디스크에 기록하지 않습니다. 호스팅 업체가 자체 네트워크 장비에서 남기는 기록은 회사가 관리하지 않으며 이 방침의 범위 밖입니다.

2. 수집 목적

게임 밸런스 분석에만 씁니다. 구체적으로는 HEAT 단계와 웨이브별 패배 분포, 카드와 아이템 선택률, 무기별 승률, 판 길이와 배속 사용 분포를 보고 난이도와 보상을 조정하는 데 씁니다. 광고, 타겟팅, 판매, 이용자 프로파일링에는 쓰지 않습니다.

3. 법적 근거와 동의

이용자의 동의입니다. 앱은 처음 실행할 때가 아니라 첫 판이 끝난 뒤 결과 화면에서 통계 전송 여부를 한 번 묻습니다. 먼저 안내 카드가 나오고, 이용자가 수락하면 동의 창이 열립니다. 동의 창은 다음을 알립니다. 무작위로 만든 설치 ID가 함께 전송됩니다. 보내는 것은 고른 타워, 무기와 카드, 웨이브별 진행, 판 결과, 앱 버전입니다. 이 정보는 난이도와 보상을 맞추는 데만 씁니다. 설정에서 언제든 끌 수 있고, 끄면 보낸 기록의 삭제도 함께 요청합니다. 이용자가 "만 16세 이상입니다"를 확인하고 "보낼게요"를 눌러야 전송을 시작합니다.

거절하거나 닫으면 다시 묻지 않으며, 이후에는 설정 화면의 "게임 통계 보내기"에서만 켤 수 있습니다. 동의하지 않아도 게임의 모든 기능을 그대로 쓸 수 있습니다. 동의 전에는 설치 ID와 삭제용 비밀값을 만들지 않고, 기본 상태는 꺼짐입니다. 동의는 같은 설정 항목에서 언제든 철회할 수 있습니다.

4. 보관 기간과 파기

이용자가 설정에서 "게임 통계 보내기"를 끄면 앱은 서버에 삭제를 요청합니다. 서버가 요청을 받으면 해당 설치 ID의 판 요약을 지웁니다. 다만 이미 만들어진 서버 백업에는 삭제된 기록이 약 14일 동안 남을 수 있습니다. 백업은 장애 복구에만 쓰며, 접근은 제한합니다.

5. 기기 안에 저장되는 정보와 백업

게임 진행 정보(재화, 최고 웨이브, 해금 항목, 설정 등)는 이용자의 기기에 저장됩니다. 설치 ID와 삭제용 비밀값도 기기에 저장되며, 게임 진행 정보와는 따로 보관합니다. 앱을 삭제하면 기기에서 지워집니다.

Android 자동 백업이 켜져 있으면 기기 설정에 따라 앱의 저장 데이터가 이용자의 Google 계정(Google Drive 백업)에 저장될 수 있습니다. 이 백업은 Google이 운영하며 회사는 접근할 수 없습니다. 백업은 기기 설정에서 끌 수 있고 Google의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다. 다만 설치 ID, 삭제용 비밀값, 전송 대기열이 들어 있는 통계 전용 저장 폴더는 클라우드 백업, 기기 간 데이터 이전, 이전 방식의 전체 백업에서 모두 제외합니다. 게임 진행 정보는 백업에 포함되며, 통계 전송 안내를 이미 보여 줬는지를 나타내는 표시도 여기에 들어 있습니다. 그래서 백업을 복원한 기기에서는 설치 ID가 없는 상태로 시작합니다.

6. 결과 공유

앱에는 게임 결과를 공유하는 기능이 있습니다. 이용자가 공유 버튼을 눌렀을 때만 결과 이미지와 문구가 Android 공유창으로 전달되고, 이용자가 고른 앱으로 전송됩니다. 회사는 공유 내용을 받거나 저장하지 않습니다. 공유 이미지는 공유를 위해 기기의 임시 저장 공간(캐시)에 만들어집니다. 공유받는 앱의 처리 방식은 해당 앱의 방침을 따릅니다.

7. 아동과 청소년

앱의 대상 연령은 만 13세 이상입니다. 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 만들지 않았으며, 만 13세 미만 아동의 정보를 알고서 수집하지 않습니다.

판 요약 전송은 만 16세 이상으로 확인되고 직접 동의한 이용자에게만 켜집니다. 이 기준은 한국 개인정보 보호법의 만 14세, 미국 COPPA의 만 13세, EEA 회원국별 만 13세부터 16세까지의 기준을 모두 넘도록 하나로 정한 것입니다. 연령은 동의 화면에서 "만 16세 이상입니다"를 이용자가 직접 확인하는 방식으로 묻습니다. 생년이나 나이는 입력받지 않으며 기기에도 서버에도 저장하지 않습니다. 확인하지 않으면 판 요약을 보내지 않고, 설치 ID와 삭제용 비밀값도 만들지 않습니다.

만 16세 미만 이용자의 정보가 전송된 사실을 알게 되면 해당 설치 ID의 기록을 지웁니다. 보호자는 아래 문의처로 삭제를 요청할 수 있습니다.

8. 제3자 제공과 처리 위탁, 국외 이전

제3자 제공: 회사는 판 요약을 제3자에게 제공하지 않으며, 광고나 마케팅 목적으로 팔거나 넘기지 않습니다.

처리 위탁: 판 요약을 저장하는 서버를 아래 업체의 서버에서 운영합니다.

국외 이전: 한국 이용자의 정보는 국외로 이전하지 않습니다. 판 요약은 대한민국 춘천 리전의 서버에만 저장합니다. 호스팅 업체는 미국 법인이 제공하는 클라우드이지만 데이터는 국내 리전에 두며 국외로 옮기지 않습니다. 이 사실이 달라지면 이전받는 자, 이전 국가, 이전 시기와 방법, 목적, 보유 기간을 적어 먼저 고지합니다.

EEA와 영국 이용자: 이용자의 정보는 대한민국으로 전송되어 그곳에 저장됩니다. 대한민국은 유럽연합 집행위원회의 적정성 결정(2021년 12월)과 영국의 적정성 규정을 받았습니다. 처리의 법적 근거는 이용자의 동의입니다(GDPR 제6조 제1항 (a)).

9. 이용자의 권리와 행사 방법

이용자는 다음을 할 수 있습니다.

1. 앱 안에서 끄기와 삭제. 설정 화면의 "게임 통계 보내기"를 끄면 이후 판은 전송하지 않고, 대기 중이던 전송 대기열을 지우며, 서버에 있는 내 설치 ID의 판 요약 삭제를 함께 요청합니다. 이 삭제 요청은 네트워크가 연결되어 서버가 받았음을 확인할 때까지 앱이 다시 시도합니다. 서버는 요청을 받으면 해당 기록을 지웁니다. 이후 다시 켜면 새 설치 ID와 새 삭제용 비밀값을 만듭니다. 별도의 삭제 버튼은 두지 않습니다.
2. 앱을 지운 뒤의 기록. 앱은 설치 ID를 화면에 보여 주지 않습니다. 끄기 전에 앱을 지웠다면 회사는 어떤 기록이 누구의 것인지 알 수 없습니다. 이 기록은 받은 날부터 90일이 지나면 자동으로 삭제되며, 삭제된 기록이 서버 백업에 약 14일 더 남을 수 있습니다.
3. 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리정지, 동의 철회 요구. 개인정보 보호법에 따라 이용자는 자신의 정보에 대한 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리정지를 요구하고 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다. 아래 이메일로 요청하면 회사는 10일 이내에 처리하고 결과를 알립니다. 동의 철회는 위 1번처럼 설정에서 직접 할 수도 있으며, 철회 전에 이뤄진 처리의 적법성에는 영향이 없습니다.
4. 본인 확인의 한계. 설치 ID를 알지 못하면 회사는 어떤 기록이 요청한 분의 것인지 가려낼 수 없습니다. 이용자가 제공할 수 있는 정보(설치 시기, 기기 종류, 판 정보 등)가 있으면 알려 주세요. 회사는 그 정보로 할 수 있는 조치를 합니다.
5. EEA 이용자의 권리. EEA에 거주하는 이용자는 GDPR에 따라 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 제한, 이동, 반대의 권리를 갖고, 거주지 국가의 감독기관에 불만을 제기할 권리가 있습니다.

10. 권익침해 구제방법

개인정보 침해로 인한 구제를 받으려면 아래 기관에 분쟁 해결이나 상담을 신청할 수 있습니다.

11. 자동 수집 장치

앱은 쿠키나 그와 비슷한 추적 기술을 쓰지 않습니다. 이 방침을 게시한 웹 페이지도 쿠키를 설정하지 않습니다.

12. 개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치

판 요약은 HTTPS로 전송하며 인증서는 Let's Encrypt를 쓰고 자동으로 갱신합니다. 서버는 SSH 키 인증만 허용하고 비밀번호 로그인을 막으며 방화벽을 씁니다. 데이터 폴더와 백업 폴더의 접근 권한을 제한하고, 백업 폴더는 소유자만 접근할 수 있습니다. 서버 로그에는 IP 주소를 기록하지 않고, 삭제용 비밀값은 해시만 저장합니다. 서버는 요청 크기와 횟수를 제한하고 받은 값이 정해진 형식인지 검사하며, 요청 본문은 운영 로그에 남기지 않습니다. 저장된 판 요약은 압축해 보관합니다.

13. 방침의 변경

이 방침은 https://shapetower.of9soft.com/privacy 에 게시합니다. 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지에 변경 내용과 시행일을 올립니다. 앱 스토어 등록정보의 방침 링크는 같은 주소로 유지합니다. 수집하는 정보가 늘어나는 변경은 해당 버전을 배포하기 전에 먼저 공지합니다. 수집 항목이나 목적이 크게 바뀌면 앱에서 다시 동의를 받습니다.

Shape Tower Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026

OF9Soft ("we", "us") provides Shape Tower (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App collects, what we use it for, and when we delete it. It applies from version 1.0.

1. Information we collect

The App sends a run summary to our server only if you have consented. As a rule, one summary is sent when a run ends. A very short run is not sent: one that ends before two waves have been played from the starting wave and lasts less than 30 seconds. A run interrupted because the App was closed may be sent as "interrupted" the next time you open the App. If you have not consented, or have withdrawn consent, nothing is sent. A run summary contains the following.

The install ID is a random value that is not linked to your name, email or any account. However, because it connects the run summaries sent from the same install, we treat the install ID and run summaries as personal information.

We do not collect: name, email, phone number, account information, contacts, location, photos, files, typed text, advertising ID, device identifiers (Android ID, IMEI and similar), crash logs or diagnostic logs. A run summary contains no free text typed by you. Every string is a game data id or a fixed value.

Confirmation that you are 16 or older: while statistics sending is on, the device stores that you confirmed you are 16 or older (yes or no). We never ask for or store your birth year or age, and nothing about your age is sent to the server. When you turn statistics sending off, this confirmation is cleared as well.

IP address: our server does not store IP addresses. The web server (nginx) access log is turned off, its error log is sent to /dev/null, and the application process does not log requests. The IP address is used only in server memory for rate limiting and is never written to disk. Records that the hosting provider keeps on its own network equipment are outside our control and outside this policy.

2. Purpose

We use the data only for game balance analysis: the distribution of losses by HEAT level and wave, pick rates of cards and items, win rates by weapon, and the distribution of run length and speed use, to tune difficulty and rewards. We do not use it for advertising, targeting, sale or profiling.

3. Legal basis and consent

Your consent. The App asks once whether to send statistics, on the result screen after your first run ends, not at first launch. An information card appears first, and if you accept, a consent window opens. The window tells you that a randomly generated install ID is sent with the data. What is sent is the towers, weapons and cards you chose, wave-by-wave progress, run results and the app version. The data is used only to tune difficulty and rewards. You can turn it off at any time in settings, and turning it off also requests deletion of the records already sent. Sending starts only after you confirm "I am 16 or older" and press the agree button.

If you decline or close the window, you are not asked again, and you can turn it on only from "SEND GAME STATS" in settings. You can use every feature of the game without consenting. Before you consent, no install ID or deletion secret is created, and the default is off. You can withdraw consent at any time from the same setting.

4. Retention and deletion

When you turn off "SEND GAME STATS" in settings, the App asks the server to delete your data. When the server receives the request, it deletes the run summaries of that install ID. A deleted record may remain in already-created server backups for about 14 days. Backups are used only for disaster recovery, and access to them is restricted.

5. Information stored on your device, and backups

Game progress (currency, best wave, unlocks, settings and so on) is stored on your device. The install ID and deletion secret are also stored on the device, kept separately from game progress. They are removed when you uninstall the App.

If Android auto backup is on, the App's stored data may be saved to your Google account (Google Drive backup) depending on your device settings. Google operates that backup and we cannot access it. You can turn it off in device settings, and Google's privacy policy applies. The statistics-only storage folder that holds the install ID, deletion secret and send queue is excluded from cloud backup, device-to-device transfer and legacy full backup. Game progress is included in backups, and so is the flag showing whether the statistics notice has already been shown. For that reason a device that restores a backup starts without an install ID.

6. Sharing results

The App has a feature to share game results. Only when you press the share button, the result image and text are handed to the Android share sheet and sent to the app you choose. We do not receive or store shared content. The share image is created in the device's temporary storage (cache) for sharing. The receiving app handles it under its own policy.

7. Children and teenagers

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Sending run summaries can be turned on only for users who are confirmed to be 16 or older and who consent themselves. One threshold is used that is above Korea's age of 14 under its Personal Information Protection Act, 13 under the US COPPA, and the 13 to 16 range set by EEA member states. Age is asked by having you confirm "I am 16 or older" on the consent screen. We do not ask for a birth year or age, and we do not store one on the device or the server. Without that confirmation, no run summary is sent and no install ID or deletion secret is created.

If we learn that information of a user under 16 was sent, we delete the records of that install ID. A parent or guardian can request deletion using the contact below.

8. Third-party disclosure, processors and international transfers

Disclosure to third parties: we do not provide run summaries to third parties, and we do not sell or hand them over for advertising or marketing.

Processor: the server that stores run summaries runs on the following provider.

International transfers: for users in Korea there is no transfer abroad. Run summaries are stored only on servers in the Chuncheon region of Korea. The hosting provider is a cloud offered by a US company, but the data stays in the Korean region and is not moved abroad. If this changes, we will give prior notice stating the recipient, destination country, timing and method, purpose and retention period.

Users in the EEA and the UK: your data is transferred to and stored in the Republic of Korea. Korea is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (December 2021) and by UK adequacy regulations. The legal basis for processing is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

9. Your rights and how to exercise them

You can do the following.

1. Turn off and delete in the App. Turning off "SEND GAME STATS" in settings stops sending later runs, clears the pending send queue, and also requests deletion of the run summaries stored on the server for your install ID. The App retries this deletion request until the server confirms it has received it. The server deletes the records when it receives the request. If you turn it on again later, a new install ID and a new deletion secret are created. There is no separate delete button.
2. Records after you uninstall. The App does not show the install ID. If you uninstalled the App before turning it off, we cannot tell which records are yours. Those records are deleted automatically 90 days after receipt, and a deleted record may stay in server backups for about 14 more days.
3. Access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, and withdrawal of consent. Under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, and suspension of processing of your information, and you may withdraw your consent. If you email us at the address below, we will process the request within 10 days and tell you the result. You can also withdraw consent yourself in settings as described in item 1. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
4. Limits of identification. Without the install ID, we cannot determine which records belong to you. If you can provide any information, such as when you installed the App, the device type or details of a run, please send it. We will act on whatever that information allows.
5. Rights of EEA users. If you are in the EEA, under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

10. Korean remedies

For remedies against a privacy infringement, you may apply for dispute resolution or consultation to the following Korean bodies.

EEA users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority, as described in section 9.

11. Automatic collection devices

The App does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. The web page that publishes this policy does not set cookies either.

12. Security measures

Run summaries are sent over HTTPS, using Let's Encrypt certificates that renew automatically. The server accepts only SSH key authentication, blocks password login, and uses a firewall. Access permissions on the data folder and backup folder are restricted, and the backup folder is accessible only to its owner. Server logs do not record IP addresses, and only a hash of the deletion secret is stored. The server limits request size and rate, checks that received values follow the expected format, and does not keep request bodies in operational logs. Stored run summaries are kept compressed.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy is published at https://shapetower.of9soft.com/privacy. When it changes, we post the changes and the effective date on this page. The policy link in the app store listing stays at the same address. A change that adds collected information is announced before the affected version is released. If collected items or purposes change significantly, the App asks for your consent again.
